From Thursday, retired German satellit ROSAT could crash into the Earth. Today, experts don't know where could land the pieces: a vast swath of territory that includes much of the earth outsides the poles. Parts of the satellites will burn up during re-entry.
This satellit was launched in 1990 for 9 years in order to research on black holes and neutron stars.
